So, its been a few years since we were on our last cruise. I was finally able to convince Sandra to try one more time. This time I had to work and found a great deal for an 8-day cruise on Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas. This is Royal Caribbean’s third largest class of ships. I have been on the Voyager Class previously and really enjoyed it so figured this would probably be my best chance to get her hooked.
The reason I like cruising is that for one, its typically cheaper than a hotel and includes the food. You also get to see many different places without the driving, you just wake up and your somewhere new. For most trips we go on, we are rarely in one place the whole time. I end up being the one to drive, and boy do I drive.
We seem to leave cruises for big occasions, our last cruise was for our honeymoon, and now we will be going for our anniversary. I just hope I’ll be able to go on many more in the near future.
*Update 21-Jan-18*
We started to do a bit more planning for our cruise. We booked our flights with Southwest, who recently started flying to Cayman. We got these tickets for around $400 US total, direct which is a terrific deal. We also decided to do a cave tour in San Juan.
As we plan more, we will keep you guys updated. So stay tuned for updates.
