Cayman’s Batabano 2017: Taking over Cayman Carnival

Every year the Cayman Islands holds a big Carnival in May called Batabano. I wasn’t sure if I was going to make this post because I may have had a little too much to drink on an empty stomach when I did that parade so you can guess how the end was… In any case, I decided I should still share my personal experience of the celebration with you.

Our Next Cruise Is Booked

So, its been a few years since we were on our last cruise. I was finally able to convince Sandra to try one more time. This time I had to work and found a great deal for an 8-day cruise on Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas. This is Royal Caribbean’s third largest class of ships. I have been on the Voyager Class previously and really enjoyed it so figured this would probably be my best chance to get her hooked.

Honeymoon Cruise

So for our honeymoon, we decided to take a cruise. Sandra had never been on one before, and I had always talked about how great Royal Caribbean was, and she was excited. However, we had a pretty bad experience on the Norwegian Star. It was an older ship, the shows were great, and there was some excellent entertainment onboard.
